Part-time Certificate programs this autumn
In addition to our full-time degrees, Christie’s Education also offers Continuing Education programs including part-time certificates. Continuing Education programs are designed for those looking to further their education, be it as an academic pursuit or to enrich their knowledge and enjoyment of art and culture. Our certificate options are flexibly organized to accommodate busy lives and work schedules.
Modern and Contemporary Art (9 months)
The Certificate in Modern and Contemporary Art in New York combines academic study of modern and contemporary art with wide-ranging exposure to the vibrant New York art world. Beginning in September and ending in early June, the certificate program is divided into fall, winter, and spring terms.
Christie’s Education New York is currently accepting applications to this program.

Christie’s Education London also offers a Modern and Contemporary Art Certificate.
Art Business (five modules)
The Christie’s Art Business Certificate is designed for newcomers wishing to gain in-depth knowledge of all aspects of art business as well as giving access to up-to-date information and new analytical methods for those already in the art world as professionals.
The full program consists of five evening modules, which can be taken in entirety to receive a certificate or taken individually.

Collecting Contemporary Art (seven modules)
The Collecting Contemporary Art Certificate is designed to give students a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary art and the art world as it exists today. Ideal for art enthusiasts and collectors at all levels, the program offers an opportunity to learn about art, artistic strategies, collecting practices, the market, and the social and institutional networks of art from the late 1980s to the present.
Flexibly organized into seven evening modules, you can take the modules of your choice in any order or complete all seven modules to earn a Certificate.
