Encounters, conversations and meals
January 28–December 1, 2016
Flow Series is a programme promoted by the Han Nefkens Foundation and the Fundació Antoni Tàpies with the aim of bringing together members of the art world from different continents and contexts. Encounters focussing on an artist and their ongoing work are the object of a conversation followed by a meal. An invitation to discuss the implications of a global dimension in the work of contemporary artists while sampling the edible creations of local artists.
Throughout the year, the sessions will focus on eight artists previously selected by Han Nefkens and Hilde Teerlinck, president of the HNF, who will develop their projects with the support of the Han Nefkens Foundation. Each encounter will be presided by the artist and a guest who will conduct the conversation, followed by a meal. The featured artists are:
