Distinguished chefs Daniel Boulud and Lydia Shire join famed hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany for a conversation moderated by ELLE DECOR Editor in Chief Michael Boodro about the relationship between design and dining. In today’s vibrant restaurant culture in which dining is now a serious cultural pursuit—as much about the experience as the cuisine—this discussion will consider questions such as: how has design, which has shaped so many aspects of culture, contributed to our food-obsessed world? How have aesthetic considerations promoted dining to an art? How do chefs and designers collaborate on their creations? And what are the trends and innovations that will shape restaurant design—and the way we eat—in the future?

This program is free and open to the public, but reservations are required.

Pratt Presents is a new series of curated public programs produced by Pratt institute, featuring creative luminaries discussing issues related to art, architecture, and design.
