We make artists
PAFA’s Office of Admissions is accepting applications from talented artists and artists in the making to all of our programs. The four-year PAFA Certificate, Coordinated BFA with University of Pennsylvania, and PAFA BFA require a high school diploma or equivalent. The Post Baccalaureate and MFA programs require a bachelor’s degree in art, or equivalent. PAFA is a welcoming environment with a strong sense of community. We have students from over 40 states, the District of Columbia, and from such countries as Korea, China, Jordan, Iran, Dubai, United Kingdom, and Australia. We encourage you to investigate the opportunities found at America’s first museum and school of fine arts.

New application deadlines:

Spring 2014:
Certificate and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Programs: November 1, 2013

Fall 2014:
Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Program: January 15, 2014

Certificate and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Programs:

Early Decision: December 1, 2013

Regular Decision: February 15, 2014

Post Baccalaureate Program: March 15, 2014

PAFA is accredited by the National Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Middle States Commission for Higher Education (MSCHE) and is located in the heart of Philadelphia.
