The Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Sculpture and Extended Media is a heterogeneous group of students and professional artists [artist teachers] examining the fundamental, philosophical, critical, technical, and historical components of art’s discipline, in an atmosphere of mutual respect. The works in this exhibition are representative of the broad range of artistic visions encouraged and celebrated within the program.
