Join us for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s (SAIC) year-end Graduate Exhibition, featuring work by more than 130 students. This Graduate Exhibition marks the second year that guest curators and curatorial fellows have been invited to put on this must-see presentation of the next generation of artists and designers. Through a fusion of pedagogy and mentorship, the curatorial team of Steven L. Bridges, Curatorial Assistant at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; grupa o.k., the collaborative endeavor of Joanna Szupinska and Julian Myers; New York-based artist Pablo Helguera; and Tumelo Mosaka, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Krannert Art Museum in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois; will transform the galleries into a series of visual encounters and unconventional experiences with the help of this year’s curatorial fellows: Lise Haller Baggesen (MA 2013), Ionit Behar (MA 2013), Natalie Clark (MA 2012), Sharmyn Cruz Rivera (MA 2013), Robyn Farrell (MA 2013), Allison Glenn (Dual MA 2012), Michaela Hansen (MDes 2012), Ly Hoang (MFA 2013), Laura Caroline Johnson (Dual MA 2012), Ross Jordan (Dual MA 2013), Mia Lopez (Dual MA 2013), Elçin Marasli (MA 2013), Ann Meisinger (Dual MA 2014), Gan Kanji Uyeda (Dual MA 2014), Jose Gibran Villalobos (Dual MA 2013), and Mary Gallagher Warbelow (MA 2012).
