Advance registration for CAA’s 100th Annual Conference, taking place February 22–25, 2012, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, closes on Monday, January 30, 2012. Register now to secure the lowest rates currently available and join over 5,000 artists, art historians, students, educators, critics, curators, collectors, librarians, gallerists, and other professionals for the largest international forum for the visual arts.


Prices start at just 135 USD for student and retired members of CAA. Onsite registration at the Los Angeles Convention Center will be available at a higher cost.


Conference attendees can also take advantage of substantial discounts on rooms at four hotels: the Westin Bonaventure, the Millennium Biltmore, the Figueroa Hotel (for students), and the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE, which is steps away from the convention center. CAA has partnered with American Airlines, Avis, and Amtrak to offer discounts on airfare, car rentals, and train travel to all conference attendees.

Speakers for nearly two hundred sessions will present their recent artistic projects and art-historical research, while others will discuss relevant issues in pedagogy, technology, publishing, and the academic workforce. Historical and contemporary art in Los Angeles will be another important focus.
