Freedom and Constraint is an international symposium, which is being organised by ArtEZ institute of the Arts (MA Dance Unlimited / dAcapo Studium Generale). dAcapo, the ArtEZ Studium Generale
From talk shows to conferences and lectures, debates, film programmes, workshops, master classes and projects, dAcapo organises special activities throughout the year. These activities explore issues concerning the arts, scholarship and society. Guest lecturers come from both home and abroad, and are selected for their quality, relevance and explicit views.
dAcapo focuses on students and teachers, and also on a general public that is interested in art and culture, and which includes alumni and professional specialists. These arts events forge links between the various arts disciplines. They are meant for everyone looking for the latest developments in the arts, seeking their own artistic boundaries and wishing to discover what moves other people.
