• The person selected will be in charge of the comprehensive management of the Documentation and Study Centre of the Museo Picasso Málaga.

• Planning and research, together with the coordination of programmes of study

• Coordination and application of new knowledge management technologies

• Planning and supervision work geared at achieving the department’s objectives

• Provide support to the Art, Education and Restoration Departments in respect to research and documentation tasks

• Manage and supervise subordinate staff members for whom he/she is responsible

Training/Profile

• University degree, with prior experience in a similar position

• Specialised knowledge and/or training in cataloguing with MARC formats, file management and knowledge in the field of visual culture, in particular of Pablo Picasso and 20th century art

• Experience in the application of new technologies to knowledge management

• Academic experience and capacity to coordinate programmes of study will be considered an advantage

• Spanish and English is essential, and knowledge of French will be considered an advantage

• We are looking for a person with initiative, able to formulate new proposals, used to working on an objectives-basis, highly skilled in planning, organising tasks and teamwork.

Experience

• Minimum of two years in a similar position

• Full-time employment contract and salary in accordance with the corresponding collective employment agreement
