Angoulême/Poitiers – FranceCALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Master’s degree in Comic Art stemming from the partnership between the ÉESI (European School of visual arts) and the University of Poitiers, offers an opportunity for creation, reflexion and professionalisation focussed on comic art and the connected fields of illustration, animation and digital creations. This course combines the practices and reflections of an art school with the research carried out in a university, whilst calling upon the greatest authors and specialists in the field.
The Master’s degree in Comic Art is open to students from various schools and institutions who will follow a program of research in the field of graphic narration combining at least two of the three following lines :
– application of a creative concept (art project)
– research project on the methods of contemporary comics or the history of these methods (scientific project)
– application of an original publishing concept in all its artistic, technical, legal and commercial aspects (publishing project).
Applications must enclose a concise description of the project.
