(pathways: Editorial Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Urban Interior Design)

Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht/Utrecht School of the Arts

Today’s art world needs visual artists and designers well versed in research and discourse production. Therefore, the Utrecht Graduate School of Visual Art and Design is launching a novel integrated MA Design program in September 2005.

Discipline-based research, discourse production skills, and research projects are the three main components of the HKU master programs. Students develop a theoretical stance in connection with their own work through workshops, tutorials, writing skills, evaluation of presentation models, visiting professors, and critical feedback.

The ultimate aim of the (MA FIne Art and MA Design) programs is to position theoretically an individual research project both in writing and in presenting visual work.

Friday, February 4, 2-6 PM, presentation of the MA programs and launch of the new website:http://www.mahku.nl

Location: University Gallery, Minrebroedersstraat 16, Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Deadline for applications: March 30, 2005.
