Annual student exhibition: Rundgang 2017

Traditionally the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design (Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart) hosts its annual Rundgang (annual exhibition) at the end of the academic year. From July 14 to 16 approximately 900 students will open their studios to the public. Works and projects of all four departments—Fine Arts, Architecture, Design, Art Related Studies and Conservation—will be shown. The programme will present a wide variety of exhibitions, performances, events and artistic experiments. The Rundgang is the highlight of the year for students, teachers, staff and visitors.

The exhibition will be officially opened by Prof. Dr. Barbara Bader, the rector of the academy on Friday, July 14, at 6pm on Campus Weißenhof. In addition to the exhibition many events will take place. Apart from the awarding of prizes, such as the DAAD-Scholarship and the Academy-Prizes we offer themed tours through the faculties.
