Students at Bard Graduate Center in New York City study the cultural history of the material world from the arts of antiquity to the twenty-first century. Our unique academic program unites teaching, research, and exhibitions and prepares students for careers as curators, academics, and museum professionals.

Learn more about our MA and PhD in Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture by attending an open house this fall.  Our open houses for prospective students present an opportunity to meet our faculty, hear much more about our program, and tour our buildings. Questions about admissions and financial aid are also answered. Refreshments will be served.
