Bezalel, established in 1906, is a unique art institution and a leader in teaching and research in the fields of art, design, and architecture. Bezalel is committed to training future generations of outstanding artists and designers in Israel to lead ethical, aesthetic, and intellectual change in the Israeli and global arena.
The MFA program (situated in Tel Aviv) consists of 50 students with personal studios. The program integrates studio work, critical studies and encounters with artists, researchers, leading critics and curators from both Israel and abroad.
The program, established 16 years ago, offers a supportive and challenging environment that nurtures the creative, critical and professional development of its participants. It also enjoys collaboration, information exchange and joint workshops and exhibitions with parallel programs worldwide.
The program includes young artists who work in painting, sculpture, photography, installation and new media. It seeks to train creative artists to a high level and to prepare them to take an active and successful part in the Israeli and international art scenes.
The Candidate must be a PhD or a Professor of Practice.
