These are the highlights of the Berlin Summer University of the Arts 2018 programme:
This year, besides the opportunity to explore transition spaces of urban Berlin and to experiment with drawing process in an open interpretative manner, or to get a deep insight into the field of contemporary painting with Valerie Favre, there is a great chance to extend your knowledge in the art of photography—the new part of our programme—through exploration of such techniques as cyanotype or learning the secrets of photographic storytelling.
For the first time we offer workshops with a special focus on women’s perspective on such topics as Self-Marketing and Visual Identity.
For those, who are interested in more experimental, discursive and interdisciplinary formats, we also offer a wide range of workshops: Virtual Reality, Fashion Design or Aesthetic Transformation. These are just a few themes that will be covered.
Join us to study in Berlin and meet artists and creatives from all over the world! Get inspired by the unique atmosphere, explore your interest and dive into the metropolis of creativity at one of the biggest and most multi-faceted universities of the arts in the world.
All courses are held in English and last between three and seven days.
