The Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts at the University of Houston is pleased to announce the spring 2018 interdiscplinary program "Against All Suns." This advanced seminar and series of co-curricular events brings together contemporary practitioners working in visual art, performance, philosophy, art history, creative writing, sociocultural anthropology, sound art, filmmaking, and community-engaged projects. "Against All Suns" explores contemporary questions of space and power, performativity, fiction, individual and collective agency, temporality, site, inhabitation, and history. The following events are open to the public; some events will be archived on the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts Interdisciplinary Initiatives Vimeo channel.
