Parallel to ART COLOGNE, the new fair for contemporary art KOELNER LISTE will open its doors from April 10 to 13.
Just two more weeks remain for galleries and project spaces with young and emerging art to submit their applications to exhibit at the new “discovery fair” in Cologne. As one of Europe’s most important art markets, the KOELNER LISTE offers exhibitors an affordable opportunity to present their work to an international audience.
The fair’s curator will be the Rhineland-born Dr. Peter Funken, whose goal is to inject the KOELNER LISTE with emerging contemporary art:
“The KOELNER LISTE could become the adolescent sister to the large fairs here—an inspiring market place for art, without barriers or borders, offering chances particularly to young, still-to-be discovered artists. As always, it´s a question of quality, but—as Hannah Arendt said—imagination is without borders.”
