Top international galleries and high-calibre newcomers: the 48th edition of Art Cologne (10 to 13 April 2014) will host a line-up of exhibitors unmatched in the German art market. In the GALLERIES and NEW CONTEMPORARIES sections, top-flight galleries will be presenting an exceptional range of high-quality modern masters and work by post-war and contemporary artists. In a new section—titled COLLABORATIONS—gallery-curated projects will showcase different approaches to collaborative working.

Art Cologne is the world’s oldest-established fair for modern and contemporary art. Approximately two hundred galleries from 25 countries have signed up to exhibit at the Fair’s 48th edition. The spectrum of artworks covers Modern, Post-War, Contemporary and an exciting showing of cutting-edge artistic developments.

New additions to the exhibitor list include high-profile international names like A Arte Studio Invernizzi (Milan), Daniel Blau (Munich), Contemporary Fine Arts (Berlin), Greta Meert (Brussels), Victoria Miro (London), Carolina Nitsch (New York), Osage (Hong Kong), Esther Schipper (Berlin) and Susanne Vielmetter (Los Angeles). There will be a strong contingent of galleries from the Netherlands: Ellen de Bruijne, Gabriel Rolt, Stigter van Doesburg and Martin van Zomeren (Amsterdam). Important newcomers from France include Laurent Godin, JGM, Michel Rein and Anne de Villepoix (Paris).
