Chaco In A Global Context
Why would we like to communicate to the wide world our existence?
Why are we enthusiastic to celebrate our fifth birthday?
It’s, of course, a matter of pride and tenacity.

Chile is known as a “new country” and Chaco is more than a contemporary art fair. It’s a huge event that recalls thousands of people to get close to art.

Everybody can feel art in its own way. Chaco is like you feel, Chaco is Contemporary Art recites the slogan of 2013 edition.

Chile is considered an “emerging market”—with much more to do—and the Chaco platform is a unique example of collaboration in the field of the Chilean visual arts.

Chaco is fresh air; it believes in culture and education and, passing through the human experience of few people, it has arrived to the field of the institutions: Chaco Foundation, who will give to the fair, as many others in the world, from now on, the chance to work as a nonprofit organization whose main purposes are to transform the experience of art into something familiar, intimate, close to many more people; and to encourage the practices of public and private collecting, considering the heritage and the imaginary of the country.

Chaco celebrates its fifth edition with a huge social network campaign in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr.
