The Summer issue of L’Officiel Art is on sale on the opening day of Art Basel 2012.

During the summer, everything moves at a faster pace, events multiply across the world. It is during this moment of discovery and research that L’Officiel Art publishes its 2nd issue, proposing to its reader to enter and share a moment of cultural excitement.

Guillaume Durand, the cultured man of the television, journalist, anchorman on “Radio Classique” and “France 2,” renowned for his passion for contemporary art and literature, accepted to play the game with us.

A collection of 3712 posters bearing the newspaper headlines, catalogued according to their key words, and presented with a black-and-white palette and the key words in bright red. The result is a true image of the violence that is part of all the big cities across the world. London Pictures is a picture of New York, Paris, Durban, Moscow…
