Patricia Conde Galería, interested in positioning the value of photography, has a rich schedule of exhibitions and activities. At the moment, the gallery presents special guest Mary Ellen Mark, exceptional documentalist showcasing her documentary series Tiny and the film Streetwise, Oscar nominated in 1984, by the director Martin Bell.
Tiny is a documentary that explores the life of children and adolescents on the streets of Seattle in 1983, when this city was named the most livable in America. With a perfect photographic language, Mark speaks of the existence of a fragile teenager who anticipates a transition, often dangerous, to adulthood in a complicated surrounding.
Through seventeen photographs, all black and white and result of a well-developed photographic process, Mary Ellen Mark reveals a documentary produced for over twenty years. Undoubtedly quivering because of its content and unique aesthetic power.
