The MFA in Information Design and Visualization allows individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply data-driven design to socially relevant issues in professional, scientific, and civic environments. Built on a core of visualization methods, interactive technologies, graphic and interaction design, the program educates experts in visual communication and data literacy who can address relevant issues in multidisciplinary collaboration and public discourse.

The MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts educates emerging artists for a lifetime of creative, critical, and effective work in the public sphere. Drawing on visual and performing art, media studies, and the expanded field of design, the flexible curriculum supports the development of ambitious projects by a diverse, international group of creative practitioners.
