Association of Art Museum Curators & AAMC Foundation is currently seeking nominations for the 2019 Awards for Excellence, its annual award dedicated to recognizing the work of affiliated and independent curators that offer new methodologies, consider the public’s understanding, and advance the field. Since their launch in 2004, nearly 170 curators have received an award from AAMC. It is the only recognition of its kind by which curators directly honor the work of their colleagues, and are highly esteemed by the arts community. We hope that all Awardees will be able to join us at the event. Ability to attend the event does not influence the award selection process.
