“Every Day I’m Hustlin’: Artists Talk About Money”
Hosted by the Columbia College Chicago Photography MFA program.

Clarissa Bonet, Jess T. Dugan, Kevin Miyazaki, and Rafael Soldi have built sustainable careers as independent artists and have received acclaim for their work—but how do they maintain their careers financially?

The panelists will address how they identify income sources that align with their fine art work and how they use jobs and assignments as a springboard for personal work. They’ll share specifics about their process, including lecture fees, gallery commissions, day rates, licensing fees, and much more.
