Hauser & Wirth Institute will host it's first in a series of symposia dedicated to advancing a public dialogue on current issues and best practices in the stewardship of artists’ archives.

Bringing together artists, scholars, archivists, collectors, estate and foundations managers, this one-day symposia will encourage a public dialogue on the growing interest in archival material. 

Panelists include: Kate Haw, Director, Smithsonian Archives of American Art / Leah Levy, Executive Director, Jay DeFeo Estate / David Platzker, Specific Object / Colin Post, Artists’ Studio Archives Program / Ben-Fino Radin, Small Data Industries / Francine Snyder, Director of Archives and Scholarship, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation / Janine St. Germain, Consulting Archivist / Marvin Taylor, Head, Special Collections and Fales Library, New York University / Timothy Young, Curator, Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, Yale University

The symposium is free and open to the public. Registration is required, as seating is limited.
