On July 1, 2019 the fourth edition of the Masterclass in Visual Storytelling in cooperation with ICP-International Center of Photography in New York begins.

Students will learn how to tell a refined story, develop a “media kit” stocked with both technical and artistic tools, and learn how to seamlessly edit and sequence imagery. This modular month-long masterclass will examine what it means to make visual stories that address the social, cultural, or emotional space of people and the places they inhabit.

It is a flexible program and the students may apply for any one-week module, a combination of weeklong modules, or the entire month-long program.

The modules: Workflow + Sense of place (July 1–6) / Photographing people + Stories in the social landscape (July 8–12) / Creating stories + Mixing media (July 15–19) / Editing All together (July 22–26)

Two scholarships will be assigned.

Upon completion of all four modules, students will automatically be accepted to any of ICP’s three full-time One-Year Certificate.
