On November 22, UCCA hosts the Eighth Anniversary Gala and Benefit Auction, a gathering of friends to commemorate eight memorable years for art in Beijing and Greater China. The gala is hosted by CEO May Xue, Director Philip Tinari, and GQ China’s Editor-in-Chief Wang Feng. This year’s artistic director is Wang Jianwei. The benefit auction includes works from 16 leading contemporary artists. All proceeds from the evening contribute to UCCA’s annual calendar of exhibitions, public programs, and other events, ensuring the long-term development of one of China’s most dynamic contemporary art institutions. Also, from November 10 to December 31, UCCA is offering free tickets to exhibitions Haegue Yang: Come Shower or Shine, It Is Equally Blissful, and New Directions: Li Ming.
