A challenging role, carrying responsibility for managing key stakeholder and funding relationships with a broad range of individuals and organisations including Arts Council England, Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham, candidates for this role will be artistic leaders with a reputation for curatorial excellence who have the ability to provide the inspirational leadership that the organisation expects. A good networker with excellent relations with artists, curators, gallerists, lenders, and educators, the candidate will have the confidence and ambition to make a strong organisation excel, developing it for the longer-term in an external environment of considerable change, ensuring that Nottingham and the East Midlands continues to benefit from the impact of this outstanding international centre for contemporary art.
