The Kunsthaus Bregenz (KUB) is an international recognized exhibition venue for contemporary art on the shores of the Lake Constance in Vorarlberg, Austria. The KUB regularly showcases recent developments and trends in the visual arts both national and international. It prides itself on the outstanding architecture of the venue, the quality of the exhibitions it curates and the open exchange about art that it fosters. At the core of its mission stands the dialogue between art, architecture and society.

We are looking for the successor of today’s successful director, who has a strong track record in art and culture. Strong links between regional affinity and identity, as well as familiarity with international standards and challenges in contemporary art are the frame for exhibition strategy, collector activities, continuous contacts and relationship with regional and international institutions. Sponsoring and fund raising are important parts of the overall responsibility for the KUB, which is backed by the Vorarlberger Kulturhäuser Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H. in all economic aspects.

Personalities with corresponding experiences and adequate academic education speak German and English, have extraordinary expert know-how and will guide the KUB both intellectually and emotionally, being responsible for KUB’s role as a center of cultural life in Vorarlberg.
