MISS READ 2013 opens on the 19th of September and brings together for the fifth year protagonists of international contemporary art book publishing.
Books are an important medium to embody and disseminate ideas, and artists use the book form to elaborate visual stories, generate archives, depict collections, present research results, or even practice book piracy. When artists, authors, and designers collaborate on books, results are often complex and enable new perspectives. At best, an “artist’s book” is an artwork in its own right.
