A group of figurative sculptures plays with the tradition of urban monuments and civic busts. For Vox Populi, the public is invited to vote online for a person to be commemorated in a monument installed alongside the exhibition’s sculptures.

The artist’s largest outdoor work to date, Broken Bridge II consists of recycled pressed tin and mirrors, which hangs on an outdoor wall adjacent to the park.

A playful sound installation that transforms the High Line into an imaginary jungle.
HIGH LINE BILLBOARD is a series of art installations presented on the giant billboard next to the High Line at 10th Avenue at West 18th Street.

A dreamlike image of a figure floating in a vast blue background, evoking the levity of a body becoming liquid.
HIGH LINE CHANNEL is an outdoor video program in two locations. HIGH LINE CHANNEL 14 in the 14th Street Passage and HIGH LINE CHANNEL 22 on the High Line at West 22nd Street.

A nine-minute video consisting of time-lapse photography taken over a 24-hour period at the North Pole, when the artist turned in the opposite direction of the earth.

The artist continuously paints a self-portrait on a concrete sidewalk by using a brush and water, creating an endless evaporating drawing.

A look at what would happen to a building if nature was allowed to take its course over thousands of years.
HIGH LINE ART PERFORMANCES is a series that transforms the park into an open-air theater with performances taking place on and around the High Line.

To mark the summer solstice, a chamber orchestra of violins, flutes, and percussion mimic the sounds of crickets.
Presented by Friends of the High Line, High Line Art commissions and produces public art projects on and around the High Line. Founded in 2009, High Line Art presents a wide array of artwork including site-specific commissions, exhibitions, performances, video programs, and a series of billboard interventions. Curated by Cecilia Alemani, the Donald R. Mullen, Jr. Curator & Director of High Line Art, and produced by Friends of the High Line, High Line Art invites artists to think of creative ways to engage with the uniqueness of the architecture, history, and design of the High Line and to foster a productive dialogue with the surrounding neighborhood and urban landscape.
