Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève opens a new cinema space in 2013
After having developed a large programme related to moving images and in preparation for the 2014 Biennial of Moving Images, the Centre has decided in 2013, under the new direction of Andrea Bellini, to broaden the presentation modes through the creation of a new cinema space, within the walls of the institution.
The cinema will offer an adapted venue to moving images with various formats and lengths, as well as to special events, such as retrospectives and projections in the presence of the artists.
In addition to this new spatial possibility, the Centre is also willing to be more strongly involved in the production of artists’ films.

Conference at 4pm; Performance at 8pm

Created in 1997 and performed in museums and concert halls worldwide, Thee Majesty is the brainchild of legend Genesis Breyer P-Orridge (Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV) and Bryin Dall (Hirsute Pursuit and 4th Sign of the Apocalypse). Genesis provides the expanded poetry while Bryin tortures his guitar in a serenade to the words. Each and every live show is a unique event unto itself! No two are ever the same. They are all an ad libitum performance existing only within the time and space in which they are performed.
Prepare yourself for a night of astral travelling as Thee Majesty transports you to other realms that can only be conjured by these musicians of word and sound! An experience that you will never forget and one which will never be repeated! Where other artists fear to tread, Thee Majesty soars!
