KW Institute for Contemporary Art is looking for a chief curator
KW Institute for Contemporary Art is looking for a chief curator to work at KW for a fixed term of three years, starting on January 1, 2013. The term can be extended for an additional two years.

Job Description
The chief curator’s core task is to shape the curatorial profile of KW’s future by developing and implementing exhibitions over the course of three years. In addition to this the chief curator will also be involved in all of KW’s other activities.

The requirements for application are:
- excellent knowledge of contemporary art and cultural practice
- experience in international organizations or projects focusing on contemporary art
- experience in the organization of extensive exhibition projects
- excellent organizational, fundraising, communication and especially interpersonal skills

Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, January 31, 2012 and must include an extended curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation as well as your salary ideas. The result of the selection procedure will be announced after a series of interviews in summer 2012.
