The Renaissance Society is pleased to announce the online preview of Trompe L’Oeil, its annual benefit art auction. The auction contains leading edge work by more than 60 artists furthering current practices in the visual arts, including Darren Almond, Ei Arakawa, Michael Borremans, Carol Bove, Miriam Cahn, Angela de la Cruz, Markus Ebner, Michaela Eichwald, Claire Fontaine, Joseph Grigely, Mark Handforth, Jutta Koether, Michael Krebber, Corey McCorkle, Eileen Quinlan, Wolfgang Tillmans, Ned Vena, Danh Vo, James White and many others.

The online preview of the auction is now on view at www.renaissancesociety.org/site/Benefit. Advance bids are being accepted online or by phone at (773) 702-8670 until Thursday, September 8, 2011, 5:00 p.m. CST.

All proceeds from the auction support The Renaissance Society’s 2011-12 exhibition season.
