The artists commissioned to create site-specific works for Frieze Art Fair 2011 are: Bik Van der Pol, Pierre Huyghe, Christian Jankowski, Oliver Laric, LuckyPDF, Peles Empire, Laure Prouvost and Cara Tolmie. Frieze Projects is a programme of artists’ commissions realised annually at Frieze Art Fair. Supported by the Emdash Foundation, this year’s programme comprises eight specially commissioned projects as well as the Emdash Award, which has been awarded to Anahita Razmi.

This year Frieze Film will produce five new works from artists Ed Atkins, Lutz Bacher, Anthea Hamilton, Judith Hopf and Katarina Zdjelar. The programme will be shown in the Frieze Art Fair auditorium during the fair. They will also be previewed in a new post-watershed Channel 4 arts slot from Monday 10 October to Friday 14 October.

Frieze Projects and Frieze Film are curated by Sarah McCrory and presented as part of Frieze Art Fair’s unique curated programme, commissioned and produced by Frieze Foundation.

Frieze Art Fair features over 170 of the world’s leading galleries and takes place in Regent’s Park, London, 13–16 October. For the eighth consecutive year the fair is sponsored by Deutsche Bank.
