Executive Director Position description
Mountain Time Arts (MTA), a Bozeman, Montana-based, 501c3 nonprofit, is seeking an Executive Director (ED) to lead the organization into its next phase of growth. Since its founding in 2015, MTA has become nationally-recognized for developing innovative and impactful place-based arts programming. MTA advocates for and produces public artworks that advance social and environmental justice in southwestern Montana. With an annual budget of USD 300K, MTA is poised to build on its past successes and expand its programming.
Summary of position
Working closely with the MTA Board of Directors and staff, the ED will manage the overall success of MTA, particularly its fundraising, communications, planning and arts programming. She/He/They will lead MTA’s mandate of equity and inclusion with our region’s diverse populations, including Indigenous and under-represented communities.
MTA seeks a visionary leader with a successful record in fundraising, organizational management, community outreach, and arts programming. They will exercise initiative, be analytical as well as innovative, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of project participants, as well as the BoD, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
