Fundación Botín Visual Arts Grants and Art Workshop 2011

Fundación Botín, a Spanish institution created in 1964, launches a call for the Visual Arts Grants and the Art Workshop to be directed by Paul Graham. The call is international in both cases.

INTERNATIONAL VISUAL ARTS GRANTS.
19th CALL 2011–2012

These are for study, research and the undertaking of individual projects in the sphere of (non-theoretical) artistic work.

The call is open to individuals of any nationality with the single requirement of being between the ages of 23–40 for the study grants.

The exhibition agenda of the Fundación Botín will include an exhibition, which premieres the works reallized by the artists during the period covered by the grant.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 6, 2011

PAUL GRAHAM WORKSHOP
It will be held between July 4th and 15th 2011, at the Villa Iris space, in the coastal city of Santander, in northern Spain.

Applicants must be experienced in photography, and have demonstrated a commitment and knowledge of the medium over many years. This is not a workshop for beginners.

Paul Graham will select a maximum of 15 alumni and the workshop will be conducted in English.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 13, 2011
