Subject: you’re missing a lot

Cairo is moving… the feeling of power, pride and hope is priceless and more powerful than their bullets and gas bombs… i’m in the street everyday, tracing everything… being a part of this great movement to change our destiny… you would’ve had the same feeling if you were here…

Unity was created around one goal between different groups of people with different view, from the most naive to the deepest ones… People were experimenting the critical mass for a revolution… we were around 40,000 protestor in the street, we felt it all, we felt that the critical mass is broken and we are so close for a revolution…

everyone was trying to pull us down by telling us that nothing will happen, but we surprised the whole country and other countries by our number and believing in that we will change…

i’m not worried about myself, i feel i’m in so much safe between those zounds of people…

On Tuesday a gas bomb was thrown at me, i started running away and i felt on my ribs, so i had a crack in a rib… i didn’t feel it till the moment i left going home.. it’s hurting sometimes but the adrenalin is taking care…

i’m just worried about the chaos that might happen in some point… but it’s worth it.

people are a great force… i keep on tracing how people believe in what they’re doing… it’s very obvious in their faces and moves… it’s very weird… and the other side (the police) they are egyptians as well… and you can see the kindness in each soldier’s face, even when they were beating us.. you can see clearly that they’re just afraid and they’re obeying orders… i talked to a lot of soldiers and we were joking and laughing… they are still people..

but our government are not people.. they even look different now.. they are something else… no kindness or anything humanitarian in any action they take… what happened on Tuesday to tear down the movement was very inhuman… real bullets, electric shocks, water and gas bombs where everywhere, and that of course beside the sticks and physical violence…

Scary in most of the points… no… really scary, but you reach a moment where it’s worth it… a lot of my friends where arrested and brutally beaten… and they’re out today and getting ready for Friday… Friday is very important… it’s either us or them… i’m hoping to reach an end on Friday… if we lost it i won’t be sad… People experienced something they needed to fell human after a very long time feeling nothing…

Suez, Assiut, Mahalla, el Gharbeia, Sinai, Alexandria, Ismaleia, el Minia, el Sharqeia, el Fayoum.. everywhere and people from each city are even doing more than Cairo is doing… Chaos is against governmental institutions and the National Democratic Party… people are dying, and that doesn’t return with fear, but returns with encouragement…

Politicians now are getting ready to write a new constitution…

the stock market is falling… which must be worrying, but we know that that must happen…

The government is trying to cut all means of communication: Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, El Masry el Yom, even Google in some points.. All mobile and fixed phones are down in some cities and electricity as well…

The system is shaking… everyone can perceive that.. their reactions to each movement shows that very well

Today we’re going for the third day, preparing for tomorrow, it might be a huge day… lots of people who where never concerned by politics are going to the streets…

we had 4 points we needed to argue on Tuesday: stopping the emergency law, dissolution of the parliament, dismissal of Habib el Adl and raising the minimum wages to 1200 L.E. instead of 500 L.E… but after going to Tahrir last Tuesday, we felt more powerful and we unified our demands for Mubarak to leave…

Several parties are starting looking in what’s needed for a transitional government till parties get ready to display their thoughts in front of people for fair elections…

that’s all for now… of course you’re following up from over there, but i wanted to give you the stories from site ;)

wish us everything good, and tell me your news…

Z
