The autumn of 2021 will see the launch of two new English degree programmes in the field of Culture and Arts at Novia UAS: Bachelor of Culture and Arts, Fine Arts as well as Master of Culture and Arts, Photography.  Both programmes are low-recidency, which means that students can live anywhere in the world. Independently of this, it is mandatory to visit Finland to get the original version(s) of previous degree certificate(s) checked and to strengthen one’s personal identity during your studies. A few contact studies will be held in Campus Allegro in Jakobstad/Pietarsaari in Finland, depending on the corona-pandemic. Both programmes have a strong focus on international networks, the students professional profile and communication.

Scholarships and tuition fees
The studies are free for EU citizens. Tuition fee-paying (non EU/EEA) students can apply for a scholarship to cover a part of the tuition fee. Tuition fee for non-EU/EEA students is 6000 EUR (Bachelor) and 9000 EUR (Master) per academic year. Read more about scholarships and tuition fees here.

The programme gives the student the chance to establish international contacts in order to expand their field of professional activity through mentorship, workshops, field trips and individual studies. The studies are primarily done remotely (you will be coming to Jakobstad only twice in 1.5 years) and via field trips around Europe, if the COVID19-pandemic allows. If we are not able to travel the traditional way, we still make sure to give you the tools to get the international network and influences through virtual solutions.
