Art of Two Germanys/Cold War Cultures
Opens January 25
5905 Wilshire Boulevard
Los Angeles CA 90036
On view at LACMA January 25, Art of Two Germanys/Cold War Cultures is a groundbreaking, comprehensive look at the scope of postwar German painting, photography, sculpture, video, and performance, revealing how East and West German artists developed their own distinctive versions of modern and postmodern art during the Cold War. The exhibition also offers many surprises, including artists whose work has never before been seen in the U.S.
