Each year the School of Art + Art History + Design proudly celebrates graduating Art and Design students—both undergraduate and graduate—with a series of exhibitions at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery and the Henry Art Gallery, as well as three distinct websites.

Knowns, Unknowns & the Spaces in Between
The Jacob Lawrence Gallery proudly presents a group exhibition showcasing 40 emerging artists from the School’s four BA in Art concentrations: 3D4M: ceramics + glass + sculpture, Interdisciplinary Visual Arts, Painting + Drawing, and Photo/Media. Knowns, Unknowns & the Spaces in Between arose from the extraordinary conditions of the last year, which shed new light on what it means to live with uncertainty. It explores the liminal space where transformation occurs and the unending process of becoming, drawing inspiration from student experiences during a major transition in their lives.

Design Show 2021: Variable States
The Division of Design presents the work of the graduating Bachelor of Design (BDes) students in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, and Visual Communication Design.

2021 Graduate Showcase
The School presents the culminating thesis work of its graduating graduate students in Art, Art History, and Design who are receiving Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Arts (MA), Master of Design (MDes), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees.
