The third edition of the popular INK Miami Art Fair will open on Thursday, December 4th with a Breakfast Preview at 10:00 a.m. at the Suites of Dorchester, just steps away from the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Unique among the fairs in South Beach during the Art Basel Miami Beach Fair, INK Miami 2008 is a focused event showcasing contemporary works on paper by internationally renowned artists. The Fair is sponsored by the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) and exhibitors are all members of the association.
This year, the Fair’s organizing Committee has organized a streamlined event keenly attuned to presenting a refreshing alternative to the typical satellite fair. INK Miami 2008 embraces a new format that presents the Fair’s exhibitors on the ground floor of the newly refurbished Suites of Dorchester for a luxurious showing of works of the highest caliber by the IFPDA’s leading specialists. The Committee has selected the thirteen exhibitors for this year’s Fair for their outstanding ability to offer collectors a diverse survey of 20th century masterworks and just-published editions by leading contemporary artists. This year’s roster will feature a mix of new and returning exhibitors.
