Bridge Art Fair New York 2007
March 27-30 2007
The Waterfront
222 12th Avenue
New York, NY 10001
Known for spectacular shows of new emerging and contemporary art in Chicago, London, and Miami, Bridge Art Fair takes place for the first time in New York City this spring at the Waterfront, concurrent with the Armory Show 2008. The Waterfront building, popularly known as “The Tunnel,” is a 23,000 sq. ft. converted railway tunnel once home to Peter Gatien’s infamous Tunnel nightclub. Located smack in the middle of the Chelsea gallery district, the complex of buildings now houses some of New York’s hottest young galleries and art entrepreneurs. The Tunnel space spans an entire NYC block over 700 feet in length, and its 20-ft. ceiling heights offer an open, spacious environment for art lovers to browse the best in international emerging art. Bridge will construct 10 x 20 ft. booth spaces for an estimated 70 international exhibitors. Weary visitors will find healthy dining at the on-site ‘Wichcraft sandwich shop.
Make sure to add Bridge to your art tour of New York City this spring! A short distance from the Armory Show, we expect great things from this inaugural New York installment of the Bridge Art Fair.
