Extra City, the Antwerp based international centre for contemporary art, seeks applications for the post of
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR (M/F)
for immediate entrance into office.

The directors major duties include :
– setting up and monitoring the centres artistic policy
– organizing programmes and/or artistic activities and events
– internal and external communication with the board of administrators, the subsidizing government(s), the arts scene and the general public, both on a national and on an international level.
Job profile :
– an innovative vision
– a development oriented personality, readiness and willingness to develop growth strategies
– in-depth knowledge of the latest artistic trends
– awareness of the centres social mission
– proficiency in internal and external communication
– networking skills and ability to establish good relations with both national and international players
