This year we thought that Cannes left a little something to be desired, and so it is with this in mind that we at e-flux are pleased to announce the first ever e-flux video rental FILM FESTIVAL, from June 8th to the 11th, at evr antwerp / ExtraCity ExtraCity.

Please join us for this celebrity-studded affair complete with special programs and screenings by such star artists and curators as Thomas Bayrle, Ariane Beyn, Adam Budak, CAC TV, Binna Choi, Hedwig Fijen, Karl Holmqvist, Ives Maes, Vincent Meessen, Florian Waldwogel, and many more including e-flux video rental staff picks! The action-packed programs cover a broad range of topics and treatments, from the visual concert of Binna Chois selections of keenly tuned music performances to Karl Holmqvists focus on a cinema of destruction and violence. Ariane Beyn will present films that reflect upon history, while CAC TV presents seminal works of and on Baltxploitation. Vincent Meessen will show a selection programmed around the idea of Cosmopolitical Bodies, and on Saturday night we will show the highlights of the Higher Institute for Fine Arts HISK! Each day has a series of programs beginning in the afternoon and lasting until nightfall, with tasty interruptions for food, drink and disco.

The tentative schedule is below and is subject to change. Please see www.e-flux.com/news.php for updates.
