The artnet Virtual Fair presents a preview of Art Forum Berlin, Berlins international fair for contemporary art.

Open to the public between September 29th and October 3rd, 2005 Art Forum Berlin presents more than 120 galleries from 23 countries.

The artnet Virtual Fair provides the international arts community with advance information on artworks to be found at the art fair. This is useful information for the sophisticated collector and art lover.

An interactive floor plan allows for a concise planning of a visit before the fair. It also helps collectors remember the location of desired artworks for two more months after the fair closes. They can navigate the aisles again from the convenience of their homes and revisit the galleries booths to find artworks they cant forget.

An installation shot of every gallerys booth will be available shortly after the fair opens and reproduces the experience of the fair.

The artnet Virtual Fair enhances the reach of Art Forum Berlin, making it accessible to collectors worldwide. Collectors and gallerists will be able to use art fairs like Art Forum Berlin much more effectively in the future. Empowered by a virtual preview, collectors will be able to decide on their purchases much more informed, while galleries are enabled to reach a much larger audience. Staying online for almost three months, the duration of the fair is extended substantially. We believe the artnet Virtual Fair to be an excellent service that the audience, the exhibitors and the art fairs will continue to benefit from in the future, says Hans Neuendorf, CEO of artnet.
