-scope art fair Inc. continues to build on past success in New York, Miami, London and Los Angeles by announcing its newest fair, -scopeHamptons, Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17, 2005. Featuring over 40 exhibitors from around the world, -scopeHamptons will launch at Hampton Hall, 230 Elm Street, just steps away from the Southampton LIRR train station and will be serviced daily from NYC by Hampton Luxury Liner. Press Preview Brunch: -scopeHamptons launches with a Press Preview Friday, July 15, from 12pm to 3pm. The brunch will feature a special performance by -scopeTVs very own LaLa Pantzeroff leading revelers on a red carpet journey into the untamed art world. Additionally, a shuttle service has been provided by Hampton Luxury Liner for the preview which will be leaving NYC at 9:30am. Please reserve a seat when sending RSVP to rsvp@lexpublicrelations.com
Culture on the Verge: -scopes highly anticipated opening night party begins Friday, July 15 at 9pm. In conjunction with the evenings events, exhibitors will remain open until midnight with festivities taking place throughout the Hampton Hall and outside grounds. Culture on the Verge will feature live music, special performances and film/video screenings. -scopeHamptons is pleased to announce that the opening night festivities will begin at 6pm with a VIP Benefit (see below).
VIP Benefit: Hosted by the scope-circle, the VIP Benefit begins Friday, July 15 at 6pm and will benefit local art institutions including The Parrish Art Museum, Guild Hall and the Artist Alliance of East Hampton. Please RSVP to vip@scope-art.com.

Silent Auction: Works are donated by exhibitions. Bidding begins on Friday, July 15th at 12pm and closes on Sunday, July 17th at 4pm. scopeHamptons is pleased to announce that a portion of proceeds from the silent auction will benefit The Retreat, Artists Against Abuse (www.theretreatinc.org). The Retreat is the only domestic violence agency on Long Island’s East End. The Retreat serves from Brookhaven to Montauk, both North and South Forks – a total of 356 miles. All services that The Retreat provides to victims of domestic violence and their children are free of charge to those in need.
In Addition to the Retreat, proceeds support the Emerging Artist Grant, Independent Curator Awards and Performance-scope Grants.
Cinema-scope: Blurring the classic expectation of video and film, Cinema-scopes continues its featured programming of exhibitor submitted work.
Performance-scope: Featured performances include, Lifeboat-Hamptons, a vital source of political education in which an island/oasis hosts a group of artists transforming their bodies into well-oiled tanning machines while discussing security, the human condition, and other related topics against the back drop of island/oasis necessities, including a wading-pool, miniature working fountains, a small vanity table and mock-ups of large stocks of Evian and sculptures of other brands essential to modern culture.
Additionally, video monitors will be set up around various pulse-points in Southampton to watch the on-going performance. The space will be beautiful.
Childrens Day: -scopeHamptons has organized multiple events and activities hosted by the performance-scope program for Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17, 2005.
