Italian Area www.italianarea.it

Italian Area is a database documenting the Italian artistic scene, with particular attention to the works by artists that came up from the late eighties to the present.

Chiara Bertola, Gabi Scardi and Angela Vettese form the scientific committee. The artists have been chosen within those promoted by the most important Italian and foreign organisations and those who contributed to determine today’s art scene.

Italian Area is a project of the Careof & Viafarini Documentation Centre, developed with Artegiovane and with the primary support of the Chambers of Commerce of Milan and Turin.

This selection is a work in progress and is meant to be constantly updated: Mario Airo, Stefano Arienti, Micol Assael, Massimo Bartolini, Simone Berti, Davide Bertocchi, Alvise Bittente, Monica Bonvicini, Enrica Borghi, Botto & Bruno, Pierluigi Calignano, Pierpaolo Campanini, Gianni Caravaggio, Maggie Cardelus, Letizia Cariello, Gea Casolaro, Maurizio Cattelan, Umberto Cavenago, Alex Cecchetti, Loris Cecchini, Paolo Chiasera, Sarah Ciraci, Roberto Cuoghi, Paola Di Bello, Elisabetta Di Maggio, Gabriele Di Matteo, Bruna Esposito, Salvatore Falci, Emilio Fantin, Lara Favaretto, Christian Frosi, Giuseppe Gabellone, Stefania Galegati, Alberto Garutti, Piero Golia, Massimo Grimaldi, Norma Jeane, Massimo Kaufmann, Luisa Lambri, Claudia Losi, Marcello Maloberti, Margherita Manzelli, Eva Marisaldi, Laura Matei, Sabrina Mezzaqui, Marzia Migliora, Ottonella Mocellin, Mocellin+Pellegrini, Maria Morganti, Liliana Moro, Giancarlo Norese, Adrian Paci, Luca Pancrazzi, Diego Perrone, Alessandro Pessoli, Gabriele Picco, Cesare Pietroiusti, Paola Pivi, Pietro Roccasalva, Sara Rossi, Mariateresa Sartori, Lorenzo Scotto di Luzio, Roberta Silva, Sissi, Alessandra Tesi, Bert Theis, Grazia Toderi, Patrick Tuttofuoco, Enzo Umbaca, Marco Vaglieri, Vedovamazzei, Francesco Vezzoli, Cesare Viel, Luca Vitone, Wurmkos, Sislej Xhafa, Italo Zuffi.
