The ” Club des Cordeliers ”
The Musee d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris/ARC has opened a discursive space in the heart of its exhibitions at the Couvent des Cordeliers.
A permanent agency for ideas, the Club des Cordeliers will offer conferences accompanied by performances, encounters or projections throughout the year.
Federico Nicolao, who has been invited to define the initial program, is the director of the Italian journal Chorus una costellazione, and author of numerous studies in aesthetics and literature. He is also an active participant in different artist’s projects: La Medesima ombra with Raphael Thierry, Water (Raw Paint) on wood with Koo Jeong a, Boca Genoa Rio de Janeiro Uma fantasia coletiva e popular with Eryc Rocha.
For the Club des Cordeliers, Federico Nicolao has organized five conversations between different personalities-poets, writers, philosophers, artists-who will speak together about the status of their works and about their practices.
