–Scope Art Fair, Inc. is pleased to announce the second annual
-scopeNew York from Friday, March 7 through Monday, March 10, 2003, at the
dylan hotel, 52 East 41 Street, between Madison and Park Avenues.

The Opening Night Party on Friday, March 7, begins at 6pm.

For collectors, curators, artists, and other art professionals, -scope has
fast become an exciting and indispensable event.

The Opening Night Party on Friday, March 7 ($10 per
ticket), begins at 6pm at the dylan hotel. It includes a special performance, Sweet
Life, by Lilah Freedland and the announcement of the –scope Emerging
Artist Grant at 8pm. A continuation of the party (Nuit Blanche), during which the
exhibitors’ rooms on floors 7 through 12 reopen from 9pm until
11pm, runs concurrently with the other festivities which wind down at 2am.
–scopeNew York’s Nuit Blanche is modeled after opening night in Paris during
the haute couture season when stores, restaurants, and galleries stay open
long into the night.

-scopeNew York is pleased to announce the New Museum of
Contemporary Art Benefit on Saturday, March 8, 7pm – 9pm (one ticket: $50/two
tickets: $75). –scope and the New Museum previously teamed up for a
benefit party and a curated video/film program at -scopeNew York in May 2002.
The party continues after the benefit with general admission at $10 per ticket.

The dylan hotel, in the heart of midtown Manhattan, provides intimate
and beautiful surroundings within easy reach of the Upper East Side, 57th
Street galleries, and museums. This ultra-hip hotel serves as a perfect
backdrop within striking distance of The Armory Show 2003 (Piers 88 &
90), to be held concurrently with -scopeNew York. –scope
mini-coaches will shuttle guests between The Armory Show and -scopeNew York every
30 minutes.

-scopeNew York exhibitors hail from Athens, Berlin, Houston, Los
Angeles (Santa Monica, Chinatown), Madrid, Mexico City, Miami, Milan, New York
City (Brooklyn, Manhattan), Oslo, Paris, Portland, San Antonio, San
Francisco, Toronto, and Trieste. (For a complete list of exhibitors,

Panel discussions include: Unique Collections, Saturday,
March 8, 3pm – 5pm, an informal discussion moderated by Bill Previdi, in which five
collectors discuss their approaches to building their collections.
Visions for the Culture Economy, Sunday, March 9, 3pm – 5pm,
moderated by Helen Varola and Daniel Faust, is a panel on effective partnerships between
artists and corporations. Video & Film Screenings will
run continuously on Sunday 12pm-8pm, followed by -scope Emerging Music @ Bowery Bar, 10pm.

The Silent Auction in Suite 1201 includes works donated by
invited and exhibiting artists, galleries, collectors and others, with bidding
beginning on Friday, March 7 at 12pm and closing on Monday, March 10 at
4pm. Proceeds benefit the -scope Emerging Artist Grant.

-scopeMiami held December 2002 at the Townhouse Hotel, a few
blocks from Art Basel Miami Beach, had an audience of well over 6,000 international
and national collectors, media, curators, consultants and museum
directors. Sales totaled over US$750,000, with many exhibitors
reporting numerous sales and exhibition opportunities pending. Articles include
